    Requests

Every title from request to ready, fed by Seerr, Sonarr and Radarr.

    Waiting, and why

    Checking Radarr and Sonarr...

    Automatic retries

Every night at :00, search again for up to missing movies and episodes (the ones searched longest ago first)
After a VPN outage, re-test indexers and download clients and search again for waiting requests
Every hour, search for approved requests that haven't been searched in 12 hours
Replace a download that has been stalled (no one sharing it) for hours: remove it, blocklist it, search for another
Search titles at a time, every minutes, so indexers aren't flooded (most allow only so many searches a day)

    VPN tunnel

qBittorrent, SABnzbd and Prowlarr can only reach the internet through this tunnel. If it drops, they are paused and resume on their own once it has been stable for 30 seconds.

    Change VPN

Health is checked first; if the new tunnel fails, the old settings come back.

    Network shares

Shares mount with nofail and reconnect by themselves after a reboot or NAS outage. To add one, run sparkbox shares add on the server.

    Backups

App settings and databases only. Your media library is never copied.
    TakenTypeSizeNote

Restoring stops the affected apps, takes a safety copy of what's there now, restores, and checks every app comes back healthy. If one doesn't, the safety copy is put back automatically.

    People who request

Each person gets emails about their own requests. Switch a person off, or pick which updates they get.

    Groups

Extra addresses that hear about requests, such as family or friends. Each group chooses which updates it gets and whose requests.

    Users

Let people join from an invite link, after accepting your terms. Everyone joins as a regular user.

    Invitations with Wizarr

Wizarr turns an invite link into a Jellyfin account and a Seerr account. Do these once, in order.

    Who has access

Checked every 2 minutes. A new account with admin rights sends you an alert straight away. Admins you already had are marked as expected.

    Behavior

    Downloads

Which client gets new downloads. SparkBox checks both every minute and switches Sonarr and Radarr to the other one if the preferred client stops working. Failed downloads are searched again automatically.

    After downloading

Usenet downloads are moved into the library and cleared right away. Torrents keep seeding until one of these limits, then Sonarr and Radarr remove them and their download copy.

    Indexers behind Cloudflare

Some public torrent sites put a Cloudflare check in front of their search, so Prowlarr gets a challenge page instead of results. A solver passes the check in a real browser, inside the VPN. Prowlarr uses it only for indexers tagged cloudflare, and only when the site actually shows a challenge.

    Folders

Where the library and downloads live, as every app sees them under /data. Saving updates SABnzbd, qBittorrent, the *arrs and Seerr together and creates missing folders.

    App connections

    Logins and API keys

Every app shares one admin login. Keys are shown after you confirm your password.
